Diego Echegoyen, (1981 Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a performance artist, based in Brussels, who works, researches and activates in projects merging theatre, expanded choreography, field recording, installation, site-specific and street performance. His artistic practice interweaves historical and personal events in a storytelling enriched by choreographic scores.
After twenty years working in Buenos Aires’ arts field, Diego migrated to Brussels where he graduated from the APASS post-graduate program in Artistic Research within the Posthogeschool voor Podiumkunsten, and in Urban Space and Performative Practices from the Institut Superieur des Arts et Choreographies at the Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts.
His works have been presented in Argentina, Chile, Spain, Belgium, Denmark and The Netherlands.
