
Diego Echegoyen, (1981 Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a performance artist, based in Brussels, who works, researches and activates in projects that spans from theatre to expanded choreography, sound-art, installation, site-specific and street performance. His artistic practice inhabits space, and from that ever-changing relationship between practice, space and time he produces different types of site-specific materials.
After twenty years working in Buenos Aires’ arts field, Diego migrated to Brussels where he graduated from the APASS post-graduate program in Artistic Research within the Posthogeschool voor Podiumkunsten, and in Urban Space and Performative Practices from the Institut Superieur des Arts et Choreographies at the Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts.
In 2025 he got the Research grant for emerging talent given by the Flemish Government to develop his research project Composition, Decomposition, Recomposition.
His works have been presented in Argentina, Chile, Spain, Belgium, Denmark and The Netherlands.
